I take subjective photographs with an aim to minimalize the level of invasiveness in the subject-photographer relationship but still address intimacy, honesty in communication, and exposure.  I collage the final prints in a way that is strictly about ornamentation and aesthetic properties.  To do this I either weave the photographs with different images and materials or make multiple, patterned, and geometric cuts.  The formal, ornamental layer is meant to gently divorce the image from its personal content.
